Community Guidelines

Welcome. Lifestyles by Stella is more than a place to browse outfit ideas — the comment sections and my inbox are where readers share what worked, what didn’t, and what they want to see next. To keep that useful, here are the rules everyone is asked to follow.

1. Be kind — this is the only non-negotiable

Different opinions are welcome; disrespect isn’t. Comments that insult, harass, mock or target anyone — including other readers, brands, or public figures — will be removed. That covers body shaming, appearance-based insults, and comments about someone’s size, skin, hair or features, whether aimed at a reader, a person in a photo, or me.

2. Keep it useful and on topic

Please stay close to the post you’re commenting on. Questions, corrections, your own experience with a product or a style, and “this worked for me because…” comments are exactly what makes the section valuable. Off-topic debates belong in email.

3. No spam, self-promotion or link dropping

Comments containing promotional links, unrelated product pushes, or repeated copies of the same message will be deleted without notice. If you want to promote something, please read the Collaborations page and email me instead. Blog owners and agencies: unsolicited link-insertion requests are ignored.

4. Respect other people’s privacy — including your own

Don’t post personal contact details, addresses, order numbers, medical information or anything else private about yourself or someone else. If you’d like to share something personal with me, email me directly rather than posting it publicly. Comments are visible to everyone and remain online indefinitely.

5. Questions about hair color, skin and other professional services

Readers often ask for color formulas, diagnoses or personalized advice in the comments. I can’t provide that, and neither should anyone else here — chemical services and skin concerns need an in-person professional. Share what worked for you as an experience, not as a prescription for someone else.

6. Respect copyright in the comments

Don’t paste full passages from other blogs, magazines or paid content into comments. A short quote with a link is fine; copying someone’s work isn’t.

7. How moderation works

  • Comments may be held for moderation or filtered automatically as spam.
  • I reserve the right to edit for clarity, remove any comment, and block anyone who repeatedly breaks these rules.
  • Deleting a comment is not a debate — I won’t argue about moderation in the comment section, but you’re welcome to email me if you think a decision was wrong.

8. A space for everyone

Lifestyles by Stella is read by women of different ages, sizes, cultures, hair textures and budgets, and that’s exactly who it’s written for. Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, religious intolerance, ableism or any other form of discrimination has no place here and will result in an immediate block.

9. Report something

If you see a comment that breaks these guidelines, or you’re receiving unwanted messages from someone who found you here, email contact@lifestylesbystella.com with the link. I’ll look into it.

Thank you for helping keep this a place people are glad to comment in. By participating on this site, you agree to these guidelines.
