Collaborations
Hello — I’m Stella Kova, the founder and writer behind Lifestyles by Stella. If you’re reading this, you probably want to know whether your brand fits here and what a collaboration actually looks like. Here’s the honest answer to both.
1. Why collaborate with Lifestyles by Stella
Lifestyles by Stella reaches women who are actively shopping for style — not browsing for entertainment. They arrive looking for an outfit to wear this week, a haircut to book, a color to ask for, or a nail design to save. That’s purchase intent, and it’s the reason a placement here converts differently from a placement on a general lifestyle blog.
What you get:
- A focused audience. One niche — outfits, hair color, haircuts, hairstyles, nails — so your product is seen by people already interested in your category.
- A Pinterest-native format. Content is built with saveable, portrait imagery, which keeps working for months after publication instead of days.
- Full disclosure, properly done. Every paid, gifted and affiliate arrangement is labeled clearly and consistently, in line with FTC guidance. That protects your brand as much as it protects my readers.
- Content that stays online. Posts are updated seasonally and kept live, so your placement keeps earning visibility.
- Imagery you can use. Styled visuals created for the collaboration can be licensed for your own channels — terms agreed up front.
2. Audience snapshot
Numbers matter more than adjectives, so here is the data I share with every brand — and the place to put yours once you pull them from your dashboard:
- Monthly sessions: [FILL: number] | Monthly pageviews: [FILL: number]
- Pinterest: [FILL: monthly views and follower count] | Monthly outbound pin clicks: [FILL]
- Email subscribers: [FILL] | Top geographies: [FILL: e.g. US %, UK %, CA %, AU %]
- Audience profile: women [FILL: age range], primarily interested in [FILL: top 3 interests]
- Best-performing categories: [FILL: from your analytics]
Update this block monthly. A collaborations page with real, current numbers is the single strongest predictor of inbound brand deals.
3. Ways to work together
| Format | What’s included |
|---|---|
| Sponsored post | An original article written in my voice, with your product woven into a genuinely useful idea — styled imagery included, plus a disclosure label. [FILL: word count, number of images, turnaround] |
| Product review | An honest, detailed review after I’ve actually used the product. If it doesn’t perform, I’ll tell you before publishing — and I won’t publish a review I can’t stand behind. |
| Affiliate partnership | Ongoing placement in relevant posts and roundups, tracked with your affiliate links and disclosed on every page. |
| Pinterest campaign | A set of designed pins pointing to a dedicated landing page or post — the format this audience responds to most. [FILL: number of pins, campaign length] |
| Styled photography & imagery | Original styled visuals for your product, usable on the blog, on Pinterest, and on your own channels under agreed usage rights. |
| Seasonal package | A multi-touch campaign across a season: post + pins + email mention + social, scheduled ahead of the shopping window. |
Have something different in mind — a giveaway, a curated gift guide, an ambassador arrangement, a long-term retainer? Tell me the idea. I’d rather hear an unusual proposal than a generic rate card.
4. How I decide who to work with
I only accept collaborations I’d be comfortable recommending to a friend. In practice that means:
- The product fits one of my five core topics — outfits, hair color, haircuts, hairstyles, nails.
- I can see a genuine use for it in a reader’s real life, not just a photo shoot.
- Claims are accurate and supportable. I don’t repeat a claim I can’t stand behind.
- The arrangement is disclosed. No hidden placements, no undisclosed paid links, ever.
- You’re comfortable with an honest review. I’m not a placement service — I’m a writer with an audience who trusts me.
If a product doesn’t meet that bar, I’ll decline the collaboration rather than publish something weak. I’d rather protect the audience you’re paying to reach.
5. What I’ll need from you
- Brand and product details, plus the website.
- Your goal — awareness, launch, traffic, sales, or content assets.
- Timeline, including any fixed campaign dates.
- Deliverables you expect, and any legal or claim requirements.
- Budget range and whether the arrangement is paid, gifted or affiliate.
- Usage rights you’d like for the imagery and the post.
