Image Credits & Sources Policy
Images carry this site — they’re how a hairstyle, a shade or a nail design becomes something you can actually picture. This policy explains where the visuals come from and how they may be used.
1. Original photography and created visuals
Many images on this site are produced for Lifestyles by Stella. Some are styled and edited with photo-editing software; some are created or substantially generated with AI image tools to illustrate a look, shade, cut or design. AI or heavily edited imagery is used for visual illustration only — it is never presented as a documented before-and-after, as a real reader’s result, or as a photograph of a specific unmodified person.
2. Licensed stock imagery
Some images are licensed from stock libraries that permit commercial use. These are used within the terms of their license. Where a library requires or requests attribution, it is given; where it doesn’t, the source may be listed in the article’s image credit note or on this page.
3. Brand and press imagery
Product images and campaign assets supplied by brands or PR agencies are used with permission, or under a brand’s published press and media-use terms, and are credited to the brand. If a brand wants an image removed or a credit changed, email contact@lifestylesbystella.com and it will be handled promptly.
4. Third-party content and takedown requests
Occasionally an image from a designer, photographer, retailer or creator is referenced to illustrate a trend, and the copyright remains with its owner. We make reasonable efforts to credit the owner. If you own an image that appears on this site without proper credit, or that you’d like removed:
- Email contact@lifestylesbystella.com with the page URL, the image, and proof of ownership.
- State whether you’d like a corrected credit or full removal.
- Legitimate requests are actioned promptly — typically within a few business days — without argument.
5. Using our images
You’re welcome to save and share our images on Pinterest and social media with clear attribution and a working link back to lifestylesbystella.com. Please don’t:
- Republish our images as your own or in your own commercial content.
- Remove, crop out or obscure our branding or watermark.
- Use our images in ads, packaging, print or paid campaigns without written permission.
- Feed our images into training datasets for commercial generative AI models.

6. Our AI disclosure in one line
Where an image is generated or materially altered with AI tools to illustrate a concept, it is labeled as an AI illustration in the article or its image credit. If you ever see an AI-created image on this site presented as a real photograph, tell me — that’s a mistake I want corrected: contact@lifestylesbystella.com.
